A story from a company in Watford

 "Go to another room!" - the MD is shouting at me. I replied to his email where he was pretending to care, and after weeks of being exhausted by the conflicting demands of his and 7 other "managers" who were urging me to fix their website that took YEARS and countless thousands of pounds to mess up to a state that I had inherited, I said in my reply: "I will do it, just let me do my job".

I have never come across lack of professionalism in my life before, after a career in banking and various startups spanning more than 20 years. This year it was beginning to look like I was in a MATRIX. The director proceeded to shout at me, while I was trying to walk it off outside, nervously trying to turn the volume on my phone up. He was in China, Dubai, or some place else. Not in the office. Typical.

This story is worth a small book, and maybe one day it will see the light of being published. To be continued...
